Nichols Voted Best College For Business Education Sixth Year In A Row
Dudley, Mass. – Nichols College has again been chosen as the “Best College for Business Education” by the astute readers of the Worcester Business Journal (WBJ) for the seventh annual Best of Business Awards. WBJ, a leading source for business news in central Massachusetts community, attracts a readership of business decision-makers who are managing businesses large and small.
This year, WBJ had 1,718 responses to its 52-category Best of Business survey, according to the Worcester Business Journal Editor Brad Kane.
Nichols College President Susan West Engelkemeyer, Ph.D., is honored by the recognition.
“On behalf of Nichols College faculty, staff, and students, we are honored to have again been chosen by readers of Worcester Business Journal to be the best college for business education and to also be recognized by Worcester-area employers,” said President Engelkemeyer. “Winning this award, now six years in a row, speaks to the confidence the central Massachusetts business community has in our reputation to deliver high-quality leadership education in business.
“In a year full of unforeseen challenges that forced our students and faculty to adjust to a hybrid in-person and online learning medium, I am especially proud of their achievements. Through the career focused education at Nichols College we prepare our students to be tomorrow’s business leaders and we’re delighted to be part of their journey.”
The Worcester Business Journal award follows the announcement of Nichols College’s recognition as one of Princeton Review’s best colleges in the Northeast for 2021, and a national College of Distinction for providing innovative, teacher-centered undergraduate education and preparing its graduates for real-world success.
Nichols College and other category winners were honored Jan. 21, 2021 at WBJ’s 7th annual Best of Business Awards, this year held virtually.
