Professor Trottier established Organizational Resource Associates, Inc., a management consulting firm with a focus on legal compliance programs. She continues to consult with companies across the country on matters pertaining to human resources, workforce diversity, labor law compliance, and employee relations.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, theatre, politics, and cooking, as well as working, training, and playing with her very active border collie, Cooney.
